Fuel Consumption after replacing OEM intake with Aftermarket Intake
I would like to ask if there is anything that i can do to lessen the fuel consumption on my 01 Honda Civic Ex MT. After i installed the Aftermarket intake my fuel usage almost doubled. Even when i don't High Rev. Is there anything i can replace to lessen the fuel consumption while maintaining my current HP?
Your motor is using double the fuel it used to be using? Do you know how many miles you are getting per gallon?
You must have done something wrong man and your car is fine and your just thinking wrong
OR
Youre car is running insanely rich and just pumping to much fuel into your engine, definetely something Id bring my car to a mechanic to figure out but Im sure someoen on here will be able to help ya

try resetting your ECU. It is unlikely that your ECU is not compensating for the amount of air intake, but it is worth a try before consulting a mechanic.(unless he's a friend
