Default Motor mount problems with my Z6 swap.

Well my uber budget Z6 swap is going pretty good. i have the motor built; new bearings rings honed block etc etc etc. It all went together real well; checked clearances; double checked the mains; still worried about that though. all in all i am very proud of my motor

but anyway on the driver sside mount holes in the block the bottom most hole is coroded and stripped out i did not find this out until today when the motor is 95% built :-/
Can i use one of those thread saver thinger's you put in the hole and put the bolt in there kinda like what you use on a stripped sparkplug hole?
Or in the most extreme case i thought about just epoxying the bolt in there? I dont plan on ever swapping motors in this car again; the chassis has over 150k miles and the engine has 1/2 that and i'll probably drive this until it blows or dies or i sell it.

what should i do? or what have you done?

You can try and re-thread it for a larger bolt, or use a heli-coil. but epoxy wont work....

not strong enuff . that is a major pivot point on the motor and it vibrates alot more than you think . i just heli-coiled 2 holes on that side of my b16 and i think it`s stronger than factory now.

ok; i'm an idiot

i didnt know a helicoil was a helicoil; but napa wanted $48 for a 10x1.25 helicoil and they'd had to have orderd it so i went ahead and got a drill bit; 7/16" tap and grade 8 bold and redrilled and tapped the block

it seems like its going to work great; i still need to bore the hole in the mount though.
