Default b16a tranny? help my gsr

hey guys it have a 94 gsr w/ itr cams and pistons and needed a new transmission and decided to opp for a 99 si tranny w/ 13k miles and a warranty.

Can the shorter gear ratios improve some of my times?
And i do plan on staying all motor.

Asking for any and all opinions oh yeah and i paid $750 total w/ install.

i think getting a b16 tranny over a gsr's can improve your times up to half a second, depending on the driver of course

Definately a step in the right direction. Hell, regardless of your decision to stay all motor, I'd recommend going with a B16 tranny anyway.
