Default keep blowing radio/cig fuse

ive installed plenty of systems. but i dont know if im overlooking something but i know my stereo is grouding out. some wire is touching metal if not i dont know what the problem is. Every time i stick a fuse into the fuse box for radio/cig when i put the key in ign. and turn radio on fuse pops instantly. i unhooked my 2 amps main power wire and even the whole radio. i just cant find whats doing this. 15 watt fuse is whats marked to use. im running 15 and 20 watt fuses ive already blew atleast 10 in the last 3 hours trying to fix please help

If this is a radio/lighter fuse , unplug the radio and test ,[a DVM is better than just popping fuses] if problem still there ,pull lighter out, if problem still there, unplug lighter,if problem still there ,check your wiring to the HU wiring harness from the oem radio harness, if problem still there ,you have a problem

hope this helps. 94

thanks well im still not sure what the prob is but i got it working. my headunit.. has some sort of circuit breaker or something running off the yellow wires. i cut it off. and i was running it all day without this piece then all a sudden shut off on me later that day. so i remember i took it out and i rewired it back in with the yellow wires and it came on. its a newer ALPINE headunit by the way.

Alpine HU yellow wire should not have a relay on it, what you cut off was the line choke and fuse holder,[I think] . 94
