being that its a vtec head you might have too unless it has the wiring for it like the h23 does. but if you can afford the hondata i would go with that goodluck with the frankenstein

yea......but let us not forget that with the wonderful k series, not only can you swap a Civic DX head for a CTR/IRT head, you can swap an Accord LX head for a CTR/ITR head......and heres the best: CRV head w/ CTR/ITR Head

Why don't you do a tsx head swap and tsx exhaust and intake manny along with the ecu?

Basically minus internals it would be a tsx engine

the rsx-s is a k20....tsx and accord are k24

a few reasons y i wouldnt swap the TSX head on my K24A4 block. its rare and expensive. it comes with a throttle by wire and an ECU thats not compatable with other K-series engines. to make the TSX head swap easier i would have to intall a K20A3, or A2 intake manifold & throttle body. i would also have to engineer a block off plate or plug for the EGR port on the TSX head. and the only advantage to a TSX engine is the high compression which makes alot of power compared to the lower compression on the K24A4. the head is really no different from the A4 head excpept for the E/M and I/M like u said.

RXS-S ≈ IT-R......i dont think ud be able to keep the ECU, but why would you want to??? "better" ecu would better be able to take advantage of the head. ITM and EXM from TSX would also make some big gains. remember, K series REALLY respond well to bolt ons

If you are going to do the Head swap you will want to use hondata.
