Rodney beat a Trans AM in that SM class that dominated 1st spot ALL seaon long...until Christ came in with 1GreyTeg's car and whoop some ***......The driver of the T/A, Jay, who are also friend with Rodney and davidnyc...etc were acting kinda like a sore loser at the end. He started critizice Honda's 4-bangers...etc. Well....I liked his style though, he registered his car as "Ponticrap Trans Am"

Yeah I think it is an overdue Congratulations for you here at HT Rodney!!!

Good job, too bad it was in my R though, Heh Heh Heh, "I think it's warrented in this instance don't you Dan?" HEH!

Now maybe if we all give him Some Sh*t for NOT running his own EG/ITR hybrid with Toda B's, Toda fly, ARC box, Spoon 4-2-1, custom reprogrammed ECU, Thermal R&D catback, ATS 493. FD, And a host of other really cool stuff including a full coilover suspension and such the names of which escape me that I wish I had.

Because he hasn't figured out yet why it doesn't run correctly... And borrowed my car for a winning day...

Seriously though, that was an awesome day! It's just another reason why I love racing, REAL RACING not Illegal Sh*t! I love Auto-X and was certainly impressed the first time I saw Rodney drive and race. He's Very good. The first race I saw he beat everyone in his stock class with his borrowed stock Si and just R compound tires.

"Wow I just thought of how lucky this guy is!" He's got a highly tuned import, he borrowed his Girlfriends Si just to compete and win his class, then he shares mine when we ran in SM to again dominate and win it. And lay down 1 of the top 3 fastest times of the day! Yup one of the top fastest times of the day overall, over 100 cars that day!

All is just proof that Rodney is cool, We all want to be like him or even just be in his presence and maybe get his autograph or breathe the same air as he does............WTF am I saying?

And more proof that The ITR in its almost purest form is such a perfect and dominating contender for road racing in the right hands.

Truely Rodney "Chris" Congratulations on an awesome win, lord knows I had a great day!

Anton

PS hey Rodney why doncha post some PICS so they can see us???

also congrats to El Pollo Diablo (Matt) for his second consecutive G-Stock Championship in NJ SCCA Solo II ( I got second place but he is definitely a more consistent driver)

I can't wait until we all can get on the new road coarse at Englishtown ! The first layer of asphalt is already complete !!!!

thank you, thank you. i would also like to thank the acedemy for giving me this opportunity.... hey blackR, thanks for posting the results. you know, i am not a post *****, well, except maybe when it comes to lsd's and finals. thanks 1greyteg for lending me your car to beat jay and best of couple of solo 2 national champions too! i appreciate it. one day, i will return the favor and let you sit in my car, and if you are lucky maybe in the driver's seat! seriously, you did very well for only your second autocross, and you haven't hit a cone yet...impressive. neomugen, i actually preregistered jay for the event, and i put "ponticrap" on the registration form as a joke, i didn't think they would put it on his registration card...lol. actually, i co-drove his car most of this season, beating him once. he is a very very good driver, and he car is flat out awesome, with brutal speed and power. cycldav, thanks for coming and the leaving before you had the chance to see me trounce jay! j/k, next year i have to run with you at an event, we haven't run together in over a year. congrats wantingatypeR for bestinghis class, STR, by over a second with my old discarded hoosiers, way to go danno! thanks el pollo diablo for the advice and giving me some info on course conditions. next year, if i have the time, i'm gonna try and run solo 2 against the big boys. here are a few pics...

1greyteg's itr with my te37's and staggered (225/45 & 205/50) hoosiers

1greyteg a hairs length away from a cone

me, same corner, different line

1greyteg looking far ahead, impressive for a rookie

anton, heading toward the chicago box

me, 3 wheeling, with 1greyteg's brother's beetle in the background

1greyteg on the way back from finding out what the fat fast guys (jay and myself) want from McDonalds.....

wantingatypeR confused on which way to turn his coilovers to get more rideheight, so he can fit the hoosiers under his car....

Thanks Rodney,

Now everyone can match our PICS to your blistering times and my beginner times. I want to actually run an event With Dave, "afterall he's the one who sparked my interest in this addiction." And, I'm also looking at time trials for next season too.

Geez come to think of it I'm gonna be going through tires alot faster next year huh?

Thanks again Guys, I had a blast!!!

A.

PS more PICS Please???

Thanks Chris, for the use of the tires. I had a great day. Congrats to you, El Pollo, Jay(the first loser) And Anton for really showing impressive improvment over the day--Just look at the drop in time from run to run.
Cant wait for next year

Had a great season guys, see ya next year(5 months actually)

Dan
