Default Swappin Motors

I have a CRX Si that will be worked on all this winter and I was wondering what would be a good idea to replace the D16 with. I have been leaning heavily towards the B18C or the B16A. I plan to go turbo eventually so that nixxed the idea of B18C5 because i would eventually need to lower the compression anyways to the higher compression Type R pistons would be a waste. Also does anyone know a good place or person that can help me or do the swap of the motor. Also what type of prices can I expect to get this done.

either motor would do well( if properly set up ), you may also want to consider a b18a.....nice torque, lower compression, and you could just plug in the appropriate Acura integra ls ecu. Just buy a mount kit and shift linkage and you would be ready to go.

Anyway, both choices you listed will work great, just find a shop that you trust...if you don't swap it yourself.

yea go b18a turbo...that would be cool...i have a b18c and i love it....if i were to go get a turbo for it, i would have spent great deal of cash on it and probably could of had a built turbo b18a for the same cost...hey but that doesnt mean i wont turbo my car in the future...

If you plan on turbo, B18a/b

If you want to go all motor B16a.......... MAYBE B18c, but then again is the B18c really worth the extra $$$?
