I have the basic I/H/E for my 96' accord ex, but i was wondering what mods there are past that... im not interested in a h22 swap or NOS. I know about turbos, but i also know that they are wicked expensive for a college kid... so what mods are out there that cost maybe between $200-$400 with labor?

Cam gears depending on DOHC OR SOHC and pulleys

 

Either/or cam timing sprocket, camshaft, headwork? Well headwork gets expensive.

 

does porting and polishing do anything for performance?

 

yeah, smotting out airflow, straightening/re-shaping ports does alot

 

Pullies/Cams that's really about it. Do some appearance stuff.
