I just keep mine clean. I use a toothbrush and rags on them about once a month. They are holding up just fine.

I thought they came with a new paint that prevented rust.

I clean and protect mine every 7500 when i rotate my tires. I use some anti rust spray that i picked up at a marine store, but wd40 will work also. If you live in an area where they salt the roads, maybe put some anti seize on the threads, that should prevent them from rusting.

The thing about using anti seize/wd40 is that it will force everything will stick to your dampers. I would use a silicon spray, or something that isnt sticky.

Is there any way people can come together and get the damper system as a group for a lower price?
