I'm looking to get a good exhaust and I know that If i get just a JDM 4-1 header and keep the rest USDM or just the cat-back, I would need make some shortening/lengthening modifications to the piping, but if I got the JDM Type-R 4-1 header, JDM Type-R cat, and JDM Type-R cat-back, would it all line up perfectly with no cutting necessary? Thanks for any help.

If you get the full JDM exhaust from the header all the way back you won't have to cut, lengthen, or adjust anything.

 

if you getting the JDM headers you might as well get the full JDM exhaust or just upgrade to a aftermarket one that fits properly meaning no bottle neck

 

Is the jdm type r piping 2.5" like on the header?

 

alright thanks for the help. Do you think the JDM integra type-r exhaust would work good? I'm not looking to spend a ton of money, and I feel good about buying anything made by Honda so it seems like the way to go. I'm concerned about passing emissions with it though because I already have the JDM B18C (sir-g) engine, does anybody know if I'll have a problem?

I have the jdm 4-1 --&gt; hi-flow cat --&gt; USDM ITR exhaust. Everything looks good and sounds great. Hopefully it passes emissions as I have my registration due.
