whats up with my rear teins?
this is the first time i've owned or even touched a full coilover suspension. i got some tein type flex for my integra, installed them, and went about adjusting the height, but for some reason, whenever i set the car on the ground after adjusting them, it seems super super soft and i can push the *** end of the car down pretty easily. so i decided i must be doing something wrong or there must be another problem.
so i took a picture. here ya go. any help would be appreciated. and the bottom lock ring is loose because i was in the process of raising the car up some when i took the pic. btw its going on a 98 integra with a set of 17's. going to be a one finger gap. thanks in advance.

A buddy just informed me of compressing the spring with the perches, i had asked a friend about that before and was told not to, but maybe he was wrong.

where are your dust sheilds for that setup? not good to have the rod exposed like that, check it out
ur springs are already compressed, unless they gave you the wrong rates for the rear, or your struts are blown, everything should be fine...

the springs were not compressed when they arrived, plus i think my friend was playing around with them. i never got any dust shields, i didn't know i should have, what do they look like?

just look at your stock shocks, they have them, its like a blk cylinder,,
and did you do the springs yourself? they had to of been compressed for you to get the top plate mounted

That black piece just inside the top of the spring is a dust boot. It will be covering all of the exposed piston that can be seen in that pic when the car is on the ground.

You need to set the preload by using the top perches below the spring. The more preload you have, the less it will droop when under load. Whoever told your friend not to was an I-dot.
