gsr turbo/ gauges, electrical or mechanical?

Default gsr turbo/ gauges, electrical or mechanical?

i want to get oil press and oil temp gauges, can they go inside the car if they mechanical? i know mechanical is more accurate but i have to have them mounted inside the car. what do you think?

Its more of a personal preference...but just be very careful if you use mechanical gauges for oil pressure. Any pinch of the provided nylon tubing will lead to a oily mess. My word of advice is to use brand new bulbs and make sure all connections are tight and proper or else the constant install/removal of the gauge will kink the nylon tubing or worst case.....the gauge itself will be "overflooded" with oil (happened to a buddy of mine, really!!!)

electrical may be a little more expensive but it beats the risk of having oil in your interior.

id tend to agree with the reasoning of the electrical, a whole lot more cleaner..
