Default VAFC2 on a K20A

was wondering what a good RPM setting for the VTEC to kick in at. i have the mugen n1 ecu, and i think they said its set at 5250, but i was thinkin a lil lower........... any advice??

wait isnt the k20a i-vtec??? if so you really couldnt set the vtec engagement point considering the valve timing is always on

Honda set the VTEC where they did for a reason and unless you have altered the performance aspects of the engine, then you really don't have any reason to alter the VTEC setting.

You will not gain much performance if any at all by only moving the vtec activation point. You will also need to change the cam angles to gain maximum performance. There is more power to be found if all variables are taken into account.
