Default shimmed oil pump & cam seals leaking

I put a .110 shim in my oil pump. I searched and found some people saying that the added oil pressure will blow seals. Just wondering if anyone has ran in to that problem of too much oil pressure pushing out the cam seals.

I've not heard that shimming the oil pump increases oil pressure to the point of seal failure, however I've read that you should use a .030" washer and you're close to 4x that.

Something to think about....

the cam seals have a nice drain hole right behind them, in most cases too much oil pressure will push out the front crank seal first.
