Same friend who told you about controlled oversteer? By looking at the site you linked it looks like there was a lot of issues with that car when he got it. It is drivable now? has it been properly tuned with the new engine in there? I would look that thing over from top to bottom so you know what you are getting into for work. I've been in the no car situation, it tends to make you rush your decision. If you can, think about it for a week or two after you inspect the car, then decide. During the thinking time look at other cars and see what you can get for the same money.
pretty rusty lookin to me too, but that may be your best bet up in ontario
and whats with the cardboard under the tires??? im from florida and ive never seen anyone do that>

looks REALLY DIRTY. tell them to pull the stereo equipment and give them $500-700 as is.
then use your left over money and get a new carpet, new floor mats, a detail job and a cheap body/paint job. that should be good.
thats IMO

My brother is a bodyman, so we are just going to replace the panels. the passengers seat is fixed, a weld broke. remember 260k, but maybe 30 on the new motor. he did not do the motor work, the previous owner(s) did, and it was all done at Balmoral Park Acura in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The block was ordered from japan auto, and it runs awesome. i think, if im not mistaken...the cardboard is for the car, since its sitting on dirt, when it rains it wont get stuck...i think.

Is it just me, or does every car for sale always have a new motor with 30K on the clock? Of course, the current owner never put it in....it came from the PREVIOUS owner
