This is very easy..and you can do it...
If they are not already put together, and you need to use the factory top mount, than you will need to rent a spring compressor from your local auto parts store. You will need a 17mm socket/ratchet and 17mm wrench. This is for the lower bolt that holds the front shock fork, that goes through the lower control arm.You will also need a 14mm socket,12mm socket and a 10 mm socket. That should cover the bolts on the strut tower, the bolt that holds the fork to the shock, and the brake line on the fork.In the rear, theres no fork, its all one piece.A 17mm lower control arm bolt and the 2 up 11 or 14mm bolts(dont remember exactly)...You will have to manuever the front and rear shocks/springs out,but they will come. You will have to pry down,or step on the rotor to allow extra clearance.Just be creative, its not that hard.Once out,put the spring compressor's on both sides of the spring and tighten until you see the spring compress alittle, just to take tension from the mount. There is one 12mm bolt holding the mount onto the spring.Once off,put the mount onto your new spring/shock assembly. You may need to compress the new spring to fit the mount on though.Procedure is the same for the front and rear springs/shocks.Installation is reverse of removal.Double check to assure everything is tightened, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
