ST front sway bar on '91 Civic hatch mounting problem
hey guys
I've got a bit of a problem with the 7/8" ST front sway bar in my '91 Civic Si hatch; the main mounting bushings supplied with the kit are about twice as wide as the factory metal retaining clips. As well, when I got a recent alignment done, the tech told me that it looked like the bushings had had the crap squeezed out of them, and the endlinks looked like they were missing a piece.
What gives? I followed all the St installation instructions (which by the way, really reallly really suck) to the letter, but it just isn't a satisfactory install; it is starting to make some nasty sounds. Do I need some alternate Honda mounting brackets or something?
any help truly appreciated
