Here are some pics. It was in a barn for a year. the old dx drivetrain is toast. here is my questions, well a few of them. I want to swap a b16a or a older ls motor. What is the easiest swap? I want as much power as possible out of the motor and maybe some nos. please help to bring a new hybred to the streets thanks alot.

thats one dirty car, you got there.

Still nice though, is the hood damaged or just open?

As far as your swap it depends on what you want rev up high, b16a tons of torque ls motor, both would be pretty easy to install only diff would be in wiring really, b16a need to add vtec wires, ls no vtec so its pretty straight forward, both harnesses plug right in so its no biggie for either one as long as the cars an si that is, but even if its another model its still pretty easy.

hey i have a DX also...sad thing is urs actually looks better than mine...i just got a B18C dropped into it and ilove it...pulls hard!...problem with the Dx is it has a dual-point injected motor vs the multi point like the SI...u will have to do extra wiring judt to get the swap...i didnt personally to it but my buddy who did was getting pretty irritated when he was workin on it..other than that its not too bad...iv heard there are actually kits to convert from dual to multi point injection..i think HASport has one...as for drops u would wanna do i suggest...B18A, b16a, b18c, b18c5, maybe even a crv motor(B20z?)..

Thanks guys,

I think that i am going to go with an LS if i can find one for cheap. Otherwise I will get a b16a first gen.

Ya it is a DX, I will be getting the HASport wire convertion. I like anything that will make the swap easy.

I have heard that i need to switch out my knuckles. With what kind an SI ??

nope...yah dont need too...i used the axles and intermediate shaft from a 90-93 integra....works perfect with the DX using the HASport mounts

That's an 88 or 89 5-speed. 4 speeds didn't come with a passenger side mirror, and the plastic panel for the shifter and e-brake.
