Hasport Mount.
Can someone take a few good pictures of the **Rear** mount for me? From all angles, I wanna try to make my own but I need good shots of it.
TIA

Isn't the kit the same for 88-91? In any case yeah I'd really like it if you could get a few snap shots of the transmission mount that is if its the hasport mount kit.

that's awesome and all but i gotta play the critic and even though it's SS, which is strong, if it's hollow on the inside, it's prone to breakage i think....just my .02 "it could always be better" cents

Correct, it's the Hydro mount hence the Hydro kit.

why dont you just move your stock rear mount to the holes towards the drivers side( set of holes directly to the right of mount). If you want extra support add some poly inserts.
What exactly are you trying to FAB up?

I've had the mounts that I built in the car for a while and have had no problems with them breaking. The drivers side mount is pretty much solid. A lot of it has to do with how the forces are applied and distributed.
I've got to say that it's really not cost effective to build your own mounts. I did it just because everybody seems to think that they can't be done with rubber bushings.
I also want to say that I fashioned them off the Place Racing mounts and I did purchase a new set from them.

its been done. We did it on one of my friends when he bought a place racing kit missing the rear mount. I guess it depends on the mounts that you do have? If you have the tranny side top mount and the drivers side, try moving the stock rear to the next holes and try and drop it in. Cant hurt to try......From what i read in the past its the same location as the SiR models........but i could be wrong.

Actually we looked into it and found a couple of sources of rubber mount bushings. The problem was a matter of ease of replacement for warranty purposes and durability in other than stock engine applications. The urethane has the same approximate durometer as the rubber in the Honda mounts but of course feels much stiffer due to the lack of voids in the actual urethane. It's also much easier to upgrade to stiffer grades of urethane as modifications are done.
We have ongoing developement of our urethane and are working on a durable "stock like feel" bushing. We're close but still haven't got anything ready for the market. Our latest design is super durable urethane that has a less then 0.001 warranty return rate, it's tough to give that up for a less durable product.

First off, I'd like to say that I deeply respect you and your company for the quality of product you sell and also the warranty that you stand behind (from the "feed-back" that is said on this board)!
The bushings that I used are replacable by just pressing out an old one and then pressing in a new one. They are commonly available through the Jaguar dealer. They come with both an inner steel collar and also a steel outter collar.
If I was to fabricate them in aluminum, I'd have it so that a pair of screws would hold a clamping force.

Send that rear in for a new bushing<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Wes V »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Brian G

Yes but unfortunately they only come in one durometer.
johnzm - send in that rear for warranty bushings. The now ones don't do that.

What do the old ones do ? It looks like I have the same set in the pic, I bought mine about 2 years ago. Should I be looking for for teared up bushings ?
