First post, new car
Hey guys whats shakin, im new to the community, as a matter of fact, im new to the whole forum thing, never really found anything interesting till now, glad you can come on here and get advice to whatever you need. So after wrecking my 1st baby - 93 dx coupe AUTOMATIC, i decided to go for a smarter buy so I picked up a 94 integra LS 5 spd. I wanted the GSR, just couldnt afford it. Im not very educated when it comes to all these mods besides the basic, header, intake exhaust, but im hoping to load my car with upgrades, with the help of you guys. Anyways, heres the car, completely stock, for now. If anyone out there has an LS they upgraded, post some pics, im eager to see and get ideas. Thanks again.

suspension, rims and tires...
and while your at it, it wont hurt to throw in bolt-ons here and there through out the process.
look into Ground Control for a affordable, agressive looking drop
or if you like it simple, and not wanting to scrap everywhere
some lowering springs and tokico blues [struts] if your not driving your car too hard, or you can opt for the koni yellows
Mugen RnR's has kinda died out... go cop a set, black w/ red lip
Comptech icebox or J's racing... no sri/cai ebay crap.

paint the black moldings and the black side skirts back to red to match the car.
Then, I want to see some black rota wheels which you can find at machiii.net
After that, I want to see the car lowered.
Finally, I want to see 3-4 thousand dollars invested in a beautiful turbo kit.

Ive had mine for a year or so. A dribblies worth of income. Im a fan of a clean cars, clean lines, nothing showy, quality labor and parts.
If I had to do it over again, buy all at the same time camber kits, springs/struts, sway bars, rims/wheels. Its a ****** fat check to cut, but once that is out of the way, everything seems "not so bad".... Finished with strut tower bars....Guess id get a RS-R exhaust instead of what I have now, im also a fan of no cabin buzzzzzzzz. Get a new air filter, no K&N, dont trust'em. I suggest apexi power intake....Its half a intake with a nicely designed filter. Bolts right on. I modifided it to a AEM cold air intake, and thinking about it, wouldnt have got the AEM cause my direction is turbo b18b(LS motor) The Apexi powerintake is easily modifyable....ya. Thats all ive gotten to myself, i looking at a lip kit and paint job next.

care to elaborate on what's wrong w/ K&N?
<-- currently have 50K+ miles on my K&N in the stock airbox.
Just cleaned it for the 2nd time a couple weeks ago.

check out http://www.team-integra.net I was directed to this site from someone when I first got my integra. It is a really good site to actually educate yourself in "all these mods".
Also, imo if i were you i would learn and choose for yourself what to do then to ask someone else what to do. If you learn about something you tend to form your own oppinions about things and your own ideas instead of just copying someone else. Not saying it is bad asking for suggestions but the more you know the easier it is to ask more specific questions which will generate more specific answers which will guide you further then just asking general questions.

a little late on the welcoming. a note about the milano red, wash it and wax it as often as possible. take a clay bar to it too. your paint is still red (surprisingly) not pink, but it's becoming more of an opaque red which comes before pink...so take care of the paint. if you take care of it, it'll be a beautiful translucent red. i can show you pics of mine if you want.
good buy though! milano red rules.

welcome and don't forget to use the search button located on the upper right hand corner. this place is a valuable resource for maintinance and aftermarket/oem parts.

hi man, i may look new here with less posts then you, but that doesn't mean i don't know what i'm talking about. here's my suggestion. if your looking for simple things to start off with, then you might wanna go with suspension. i'd check out
http://www.omnipowerusa.com
they got a good deal on coilovers, or even the full coilver setup, complete with camber kits. i'm not associated with them, but that guy is pretty famous on these sites, and his price is almost unbeatable. i think the quality would be about on par with the big names. i'm sure you know a few things from working on your civic, so you know hondas get mad camber when you lower them!
also check out the acura dealer for a 96-97 integra type-R front spoiler. those look great on your car, and maybe grab a carbon fiber hood from someone on this site used for cheap. rims are totally up to you. you can definetely hook your car up for less $$ now then ever before.
remember to keep it clean and washed and no matter where you go you'll turn heads. good luck!

no mods, keep it stock. no point in modding if you don't know what you're doing. obviously you're new to the scene, don't go jumping into turbos and suspension upgrades. learn about it first, go to http://www.team-integra.net and you could even try howstuffworks.com since there's some pretty cool simple writeups in there. learn about your car first, you'll spend half as much money upgrading your car with a more meaningful purpose. you can never have too much experience

ya, dont jump in to the basics.. research what you want so u know what u wanna do with your car. no point in buying an intake, exhaust, headers, if ur goin turbo, just a big waste of money
do research, and read up on stuff...
this might help you out a little bit:
TURBO setup: turbo kit, hondata, good fmu, tune tune tune tune limited to 6-9lbs safely on stock ls head
SUPERCHARGE via JRSC, vortech, pro-charger, a blow dryer, whatever: basically the same as turbo, but on this, you dont have to upgrade ur header/exhaust system, but its really recomended. not sure on the lbs u can run, i think its the same as turbo, but not sure
NA setup (A.K.A all engine, no forced induction): you can get alot of respect to have a NA engine beat a turbo engine, but keep in mind these couple of things, 1) its very hard to get to that point, and u need to have it tuned to perfection. 2) prepare yourself to pay out the *** for this setup, as you are trying to buy the best parts money can buy, for performance to give you the max hp out of ur engine
any 3 routs will cost alot of money, some more then others. the best power to money ratio i think would be turbo. you can either peice together a turbo kit or pay extra to have one already peiced together
. a guy on here is peicing together a kit by using a saab turbo, and getting all the other necessary parts to make it work. it all depends on what you want to do and your budget.
make sure if you go junkyard turbo's, u get them psi tested to see if they can hold there boost, and if its an older turbo, get it rebuilt, to be safe.
and yes there are cheap ways to do all 3 of these, but you gota think safty be4 cost, i'd rather pay a couple of more bucks knowing that my *** isnt goin to blow up, then to save some penny's and brag about it, but people get lucky...
hope this helps you understand a little bit more on the 3 MAIN ways, and probably the 3 only ways to go with a integra or honda engine, (B-SERIES)
oh, and i almost forgot, theres also swaps you can do.. duh, but i'll let someone else cover those

How many miles on that thing? Go get the oil changed, tranny fluid changed, valve adjustment, alignment, and check the timing belt and fuel filter. Check all the fluids too and the brakes. If you don't need any work there then start looking for some suspension mods like: shocks and springs for lowering, a rear sway bar for less body roll, some front and rear strut tower braces for less body flex, and some 15 or 16 in lightweight rims with some nice sticky tires.
Then when you've done all that decide if you wanna do turbo or N/A. It will save you money on mods you don't need. Cause almost all N/A engine mods are useless if you go turbo. Like intake, header, and exhaust. That's like $1000 you could have spent on turbo parts.
