Default valve to piston clearance

I have a ls/vtec with 12.1 comp pistons and I just sent my head off to exospeed to get springs retaners flat dish valves and a port and polish. I am also installing the rs machines cams. Is there any way to tell if there will be enough clerance or do you just throw them in and hope they dont hit. Any info would be much appreciated.
