Default Swap Help

ok i got an 89 Si hatchback currently with a B16 in it. I am gonna be pulling it out for a 96 LS motor tomarrow. What do i need to do for this to work?

i did search but it was kinda confusing

well, first you need obdo to obd1 conversion. You should already have the linkage, axles, unless your using a different half shaft. You have the mounts. Only thing is .....you have a cable tranny car, and the 96 is hydro. You could buy the conversion from Hasport, but plan on paying about 650.00 for that bitch. Or you could buy a cable tranny for it, (J1 or S1 i believe).

You'll have to do a plug change on the distributor, because it has different plugs than the 89.

thanks, would you know how to "rewire" the coolant temp sensor?? or do u just extend the wires?

It's only two wires, and as far as i know they all run the same, so just extend it if you have to.
