if i were you, i'd stay obd0. easier that way. use your dist and saw the leg off. use your injectors. everything else will plug in, you'll have to wire the knock sensor, vtec solenoid, and vtec oil pres. safty switch outside the harness. you'll need an obd0 vtec ecu. hey, i just happen to have a pw0 sittin right here next to me that i'm tryin to get rid of cheap to get an obd1 dohc ecu (obd1 pr3, p30, p61, or even a p72.) i'd even trade you if you had one of those......

if you really want obd1 though, you just need the obd0-obd1 jumper harness. i believe skunk makes one and look at the adds at the top of honda-tech, i forget the name of the company, but i was looking at their obd0-obd1 jumper harness yesterday. all you'll have to do after that is use your obd0 injectors, your obd0 dist. w/ the leg sawed off since its an LS dist. i can get you an obd0 b16 dist. for cheap if you want that too, i can also get some obd0 b16 injectors too. then you'll have to wire knock, vtec solenoid, and vtec switch outside of the harness. the reason you still use the obd0 equiptment is because your factory harness has obd0 only plugs on those things, the other plugs interchange pretty much through the years. w/ the jumper you'll be able to plug in your computer. the reason i have all these parts layin around is i did a b16a gen 1 into my 93 DA. OBD0 motor and ecu into an obd1 car. so i need to find an obd1 computer. if you wanna trade me your stuff i'd be more than glad, sorry for postin up twice, but i forgot on the other one.

thanx for the help but i wanna try to stay w/ all obd1 components, i have an obd1 vtec teg harness that i would try to use instead of the obd0 wiring harness i have now is that possible, some one told me that if i just swap harnesses i will still have to do more **** to make it obd1 is that true? also to be clear i only have a da shell so i can't use stuff off the obd0 b18a

curb weight is like 2600 or 2700 something. you need more than an obd1 engine harness, you need the car harness too. you'll need to remove the dash to get to car side harness. please please please trade me ecu's. i'll trade you my ecu, give you a dist. and injectors (all obd0 equiptment) and you can run all obd0 and not have much work in front of you at all. or you can be stubborn and go obd1 with a crap load of work and get the same results. the ecu i have is an obd0 pwo jdm b16 ecu. the injectors and dist. are obd0 jdm b16.

you also need an obd1 dizzy if youre going to use the jump harness. also if you want you can just change the cream clips on the injesctors to gray so you can use the obd1. use your stock obdo engine harness. easier that way.

the easy way to do it, find an obd0 vtec dizzy, use your factory harness w/ an obd0-obd1 jumper harness, then wire vtec and knock outside. oh, and switch the injector pig tails to obd1's then you'll be set. or you can do it the hard way and swap the entire engine and car side harness's

it's easy. all your doing is changing the plugs. there are two wires. just match the solid w/ solid and the solidw/stripe to solid/with stripe. that's what i did

the obd1 dist. wont plug into the factory obd0 harness.... if you're going to use the obd0 harness and just switch the pig tails. you could get the pinout's for both the obd1 and obd0 distributor clips and rewire it yourself using the clips for the distributor that came on the obd1 engine harness that came w/ the motor or whatever and swap that onto the obd0 harness.... but if you're asking how to change pig tails, that might be a little much.
