Sorry, but I'm not going to go into too much detail, but I can help ya get started, you need to 5-wire the actual door lock motors to unlock the driver's seperate, and then the passenger wire you can either 5-wire seperate or use the neg. trigger and unlock all the doors again.... there should be an output just for progressive unlock, and should be a feature you will need to change in programming

Thanks foz. Maybe I should explain what ive done so far.

*Negative Lock wire hooked to the factory blk/white wire of the car.
*Negative Unlock wire runs to a relay that is connected to the Driver's side actuator. The relay is connected like so.
87 and 86 are connected to 12 V constant
85 is connected to the Unlock wire coming from the alarm
The Unlock wire going to the OEM door lock actuator was then split and....
30 is connected to the wire going to the acutator
87a is connected to the wire going towards the factory relay box in the driver's side door.

The Red/White wire from the alarm, which transmits a 200ma signal, is connected to the Blk/Red Unlock wire of the car.

Can anyone find my mistake?

looks right.

hot wire your drivers door unlock relay ( pulse ground to 85, the UL connection)....

does the drivers door Unlock ?

if so, you are not getting ground output from the module on the UL wire.

confirm you have the switch side and solenoid side correct on 30 / 87a.

with the wire cut the switch side will give +12 Volts when the switch is put in the UL posiiton....

I'd have to physically look at the relay to tell ya (I'm more hands on I can do it, but I never bothered to learn which # corresponds to where, I know using relays from looking at the bottom and knowing where to go)

but like noober said.. does the door unlock? and not the pass. check programing, white/red is normally trunk release unless programmed for progressive door locks

Ok, I might be so frustrated with the fact that the wiring scheme is pretty simple and it's not working, that I missed a step. But for the most part, I've done all I think is possible. All I see in the alarm programming is to change to Progressive door trigger and Passive Locking. Nothing about progressive locks.

I was under the impression that because the unlock wire from the alarm is connected to a relay and the second channel output wire was connected to the car's Unlock wire, there would be no need to program anything within the alarm.

What i've ran into now is this. The car will unlock, just not progressively. BUT....The car will not lock , even though the alarm notifies that it is armed. The idea of it seems so simple, but I just might be thinkin bout it a bit hard. Thanks guys for doin a bit of the thinkin fdor me. Any help is welcomed.

I just emailed you a 21 page pdf file about door locks, with the last two pages describing progressive door locks, it tells a different way then we where doing them, but it sounds like a better way,

if it works and helps then in return can you find a way to post it and make it a FAQ (for the one started in this forum)
