JDM sway bar help in handling
I am about to buy the JDM front 25mm sway bar and JDM rear 23mm sway bar.
I would like to know what changes in handling of the car if I were to add just the:
1. Rear 23mm sway bar only (recommended by friends)
2. Front 25 mm sway bar only
3. Both Front 25mm and Rear 23mm sway bar (This is what I intended to do)
I want to here from all of you what you guys think I should do. and make comments on what you would to do if you had these choices of sway bars.
I know Mugen has 24mm and 26mm sway bars, but right now they are more than I can afford. (Plus I am getting both JDM sway bars for less than one Mugen bar)

I wasn't aware the JDM front sway was larger than the USDM model. Correct me if I'm wrong. I knwo the JDM rear is 1mm larger than the USDM one along with the shorter stiffer rear upper control arms.
What do you want from the sway bars? I mean, do you want more oversteer or you want more understeer? Also, is this for show or for autoX or track racing? Only you can answer these questions.
If I were in your situation. I wouldn't hesitate to get just a single Mugen 26mm rear-sway bar. Increasing the rear sway diameter (vs. stock) will give you more tail-out oh **** response. ITR might be neutral, but it definitely could use more oversteer.
Going back to your q:
1. only rear sway bar (23mm) will give you a bit more oversteer than now. I believe the JDM rear sway is 1mm thicker than USDM rear sway. I forgot what the actual torsion rigidity 1mm increase provides, but it's not a linear correlation. (sorry, rambling.)
2. I wouldn't increase just the front sway bar... that means more understeer. That would be pretty gay.
3. I suppose 25mm front + 23mm rear will give you a bit firmer ITR w/ still neutral turn in responses. But, like I said before, I would rather just go w/ Mugen 26mm rears. (and, maybe pop in some stiffer bushings up front.)

Thanks for the replies.
Sway bars for show??(I dont think anyone can tell the 1mm difference), It is actually for track racing.
The price for both bars cost less than the Mugen bar, but if it is better to just get the mugen rear, I might pass up the JDM sway bars for the mugen. Please keep the comments coming.
