I want to mount a apexi vafc just above the cup holders, where can I find a plate or at least how do I make one and what do I make it out of?

mount it in front of your guage cluster

 

Mount it in the glovebox so it won't get stolen when you park it.

I agree. Safest place to put it. It will get jacked if it is anywhere else.

if you got that coin tray on the left next to the steering wheel put it in there. If not buy a cf sheet from compositeshop.com, or seibon.com and fabricate a plate to fit where ya want it above the cupholders. Safest place is glovebox though.
