Default V-Tech Controller?

I bought a vtech controller off of ebay. I paid around 250 for it. I took a look at my ecu and sort of scared myself when I saw all of the wires. I have a 2000 GSR. I was wondering if anybody has installed them, and could tell me how difficult it is too hook them up. Is there any tuning involved with them. Thanks.

Seeing as this is your first post I hope the vultures will take it easy on you, but probably not. I guess I gave you a warning.

V-Tech is suppose to be VTEC, not as in the phone on my desk.

Anyways, get use to the search function, it will help you alot, this topic has been covered a lot.

If you still don't find anything,
What Brand?
Model?

Since you can't spell Vtec right you probably shouldn't be controlling it.

I hope its an Apexi VAFC you got an not one of those simple vtec controllers that go for $50, if its an apexi VAFC (Vtec Air Fuel Controller) you can download the wiring instructions from apexi's website (PDF format)

The way you said that make me think that you don't know what this thing does, how it works, and how to work it. I strongly sugest that you bring it to a performance shop to get it installed and tuned. If you really want to try it yourself then do more research on it. It's not that hard really.

download the instruction, take every steps into consideration, you can basically do it yourself but you will need tunning time to make you v-tec controller into use. Read the instruction, if you are not confident don't do it.

I believe on 2.4ghz V-tech, a controller will net you 9mhz in your midrange.

yeah you can get an harness, or go to a good friend and have him hook it up for a 12 pack... then call a local peroformance shop.. or any auto shop and ask where your local dyno is.. go down there, pay, do like 3-4 runs on the dyno and tune. the people from the dyno will help you tune and get it so vtec kicks in right when you want it, at its peak

the bold section doesn't even make sense.. don't flame someone for making a typo when you also make typos..
and to all the others above making fun of one little letter, ( 'h' for you dense people ) stop getting an erection over it..

if you're having too much trouble installing it and/or finding info on how to install it, take it to a shop so you know most likely it'll be done correctly.
