Im looking to get an engine swap on my accord, i want something with around 200HP. does anybody work at a shop that does these mods or have had success at a shop? i need a rough estimate on money. thanks.

 

buy a jdm H22 from Hmotorsonline.com. its the prelude motor but it fits in an accord great. as for getting the swap done you going to have to check around some in your area. i would go to the local tuner shops and get estimates. then check the honda/acura dealerships. it seems like there are always guys working there that will do swaps on the weekends without you having to go through honda and pay a fortune. make sure u find someone that has done the swap before. the motor with shipping will cost you about $2500. the swap will cost anywhere from $200-$1000 (shopping around can really pay off). then u may need a few misc. parts that might run you $100-$300, thats a maybe though.
