I have the option of picking up a crx for like 4 bills.

Should i take it, or not? Its most likely going to be carb.

If i fix it, how much do you guys think i could get??

fix it, as in "Mods" and a re-paint

 

86 crx is awesome...was my first car and still woulda had it if it didnt get wrecked

I would go with it, not to many guys around with nice first gens...but that is just me I guess

 

is there anything i could do to it to make it faster? besides a swap, which i know is hard

 

i was rockin an 86si after i crashed my teg... i loved it... they look nice when given some good ole tlc

Hmm you don't know **** about 1g crxs it seems. Stock for Stock a 1g will out handle a 2nd.

 

Well I know the performance acually is worse then any newer one not only cause you cant just put in a performance motor just by changing mounts but the rear doesnt have independant suspnsion and I wouldnt call that better. Dont take it personal I just dont think there will be much IF any money to be made there.

The rear suspension isn't that bad. Remember the 1g si pulled more on the skidpad than the 2g.

id buy it..after reading about the 1st gen turbo'd b16 WITH working ac still in it....my buddy have a 86 crx wit a gsr motor...its pretty fast for just bolt ons

 

it has a salvaged title. how much do you guys think i could sell this car for?
