I know this does not belong here but I can't post in appearance/cosmetic. My question: will the bumper from a 99-00 civic sir (canadian) match my usdm 99 silver civic paint? Could someone tell the admin to let me post in other forums?

I want to say the US silver color on a Civic is Vogue Silver Metallic (or at least it is on my 97 hatch). I can get you the paint code tomorrow if you'd like.

Well there you are. So yes, it will match. Of course there will be slight variances in paint due to wear and sun on it, but not anything you will notice on silver I wouldn't think.

Bingo. It wont be an exact match, because your paint is older. But it will be 100% un-noticeable to the naked eye.

I just called a canadian dealer and they said the bumper does not come painted from factory. WTF? Does it or not? I told the guy that down here they come painted he said they don't up there. I called this dealership (Honda Ile Perrot).

Edit: Just get it painted, shouldnt cost too much.
