Default is there a difference with a stock typeR and ls/gs/rs airboxes?

Their manifold structure is similar, so i was wondering if they were the same?

i believe the box itself is the same. Thats why they are pretty much universal. But the resonator is different. I belive the R is different from the others. Also the intake tube on the r might be different. I've never really compared them, but from what I know this is true. Hope this helps..

The resonator is different because it draws in air from a different location. The intake arm is also different. I think its 3" rather than 2.5". Not 100% sure though.

I believe that the resonator box is the same. Just the intake tube is different. The resonator box out of GSRgrrls GSR has the moulded tab on it that holds the type-R intake tube.
