Just swapped a B16a1 into a 90 CRX Si. Here's the problem: If I leave the VTEC solenoid valve UNPLUGGED, the car starts and runs fine with a little fluctioation at idle. If I plug it in, the car will not start. If I plug it in while the car is running, It immediately dies.

VTEC SOL. PLUGGED IN: Get a code 15 ignitor (but it's not bad!) & doesn't run.
VTEC SOL. UNPLUGGED: Get a code 21 VTEC SOLENOID (obviously) & car runs.

I followed the HASPORT wiring harness instructions. Any thoughts?
