Default Did I give my brother a good deal on my GSR?

I recently sold my brother my 99 Green GSR w/ 61K (13K on the warranty replaced motor). I figure I could have gotten $11-12K for it, but I sold it to him for $9500.

Did I do him a good deed?

I don't know about a "good" deal but i think it sounds reasonable. You couldn't get any more than 9.5k since the motor was replaced/rebuilt whatever.

Decent deal. I don't think you did him any favors, in my personal opinion im not a fan of green so I don't think its too great of a deal. However, he could like green, and thats what matters. Its a pretty good price, but not a great one. I don't think you could have gotten much more out of it.

depends on how you look at it.... is he close to you? it's not the original motor which is bad, but it's a fresh motor which is good. it's green, which is good, but it's got tan interior which is very bad.... bottom line... it's an okay deal, nothing to pat yourself on the back for.

the car also has:
Comptech 22mm rear sway bar
Comptech red rear tie bar
Comptech 4-2-1 header
H&R OE Sports 270F/230R
Koni Yellow Adjustables
AEM Cold Air Intake
New Bridgestone Potenza RE750s

Now, does that improve things? He liked the way the car drove...and of course he has me to stand behind it. Does that make it better?

Doest it matter anyways? Didn't your parents pay for your brother's car?

j.k j.k. Ummm mods don't really raise the cars value... so you still ripped him off.

True

Give him about 8000 back, then we'll be happy

I woulda given that ***** to my brother. Of course my GSR has 95k and a broken catback at the moment...Guess that wouldn't be too cool either...But hey, at least I didn't charge him almost 10g's. (hehe)
