Especially of the 1996 version......anyone have any idea??

 

Didnt exist in the american market, not sure about the european market tho.

 

I own a 97 EXL coupe bought it here in the united states, I waited for it but i got one.

 

pics/specs...? im very curious.

 

I don't have a pic but i can maybe get one of the key chain they gave me, it says exl on it you know the yellow one they give you when you buy the car

Yup, it sure does.

 

if all you want is a pic of the interior i can do that the car is in process of being built I can't drive it. Part of the dash is missing, put the batery in the trunk so I needed to run all the wires to the trunk through the fire wall. took the a/c box out of the way so I could get to everything easier. it sucks b/c i haven't driven it for a year b/c of a tranny problem, and of course $$$$ is holding me back from finishing everything I have planned to do. I haven't ever seen a 96 exl but i have seen lots of 97's most are 4dr. when I ordered mine i got the built in phone and dual power seats and the cd changer, plus i don't have a exterior antenna which is nice. I've never seen an accord with all the options like mine.

not that rare

its just the same as an EX but with leather interior. not sure but the moonroof might also be a difference. i own an EXL and its nice...if you like leather. performance is the same as far as i know.
