Can it be filled from the vent? Or where the spedo thing goes in the back of the tranny?

Manual says 1.9Quarts, since i dont have a level spot to fill it, and for the life of me i cant get the filler plug loose, i need to know if i can fill it from where the spedo thing on the back of the tranny goes, i dont think it would matter, would it?

I belive you can fill them from the speedo but you would be better off pulling the dipstick/filler.

i dont know why i put 'auto' transmission in the title of the thread, its a 5spd.

I just filled it from the spedo hole worked well.
