the first thing you need to do is an mpfi swap. start from there and then figure out where to go next but the mpfi needs to be done first.
humm... i would go with a ZC swap you can get em for about 500 bucks...buy the time you do like 3 mods to that dx you can pay for the ZC.... i had the same engine...believe me its not really worth modding other than an intake unless you are going to rebuild the engine....you you can spray it till you blow it then get the ZC....

I actually thought the b2 motor held its own for as much as I beat on it. I stayed single cam and if I were to re-think it, I would go turbo d16a6 round 12-14lbs. Good luck. there is a ton of knowledge on HT. Search is your friend.

Mods that ahve been done,
- Cold air intake

- Coil over kit with springs , all 4 coners.

I am not sure what your limitations are in your class, but I would say you have a bottleneck in the head. I would p&p, add motor mount inserts, swap a thinner HG, hondata IM gasket, z6 exhaust manifold w a larger collector, and balance stock injectors. Tune and experiment with tire pressures. this is just me. hope this helps.
