I think you mean is there a diff between the Si and RSX Type-S motor and the answer is yes.
The Si motor is the same as the base RSX motor. Its called the K20a3.

Yeah....the k20a3 from the si is pretty much the same as the base rsx's k20a3...i believe the main difference is that the base rsx has a plastic dual runner intake manifold and the Si has the same intake manifold as the k20a2..single runner cast aluminum.
the vtec system on the Si sucks *****. when v tec is not ingaged only one intake valve opens, when vtec is engaged both intake valves open
on the rsx both intake valves open even when not in vtec, and they get a better lift and what not when vtec engages
