I'm thinking about buying an 89 accord LX-I. I used to have an 87 accord LX and miss it much. But it was time to move on, .

But anyway- whatt I would LOVE to see, would be an engine swap done to it. I've been to http://www.3geez.com, and searched on here too, but the engine swap that i am looking for isn't on there, at least i haven't found anything. What I was thinking about was swapping in an H22a or having someone do it for me. I know with the lx, i'd have to get a new computer and everything, but what about on an LX-I? I just think that a built H22a in a 89 accord would be the ULTIMATE sleeper car. just awesome.
Is this even possible? Would it be a heck of a lot of money for no real reward, or a killer sleeper setup?

not too sure, sounds like it might get costly tho, you deff. will have to get an ECU. if you want it to run right. anything is possible tho. goodluck.

Most swaps come with the ECU. Here's the main things you would have to worry about:

will it fit under the hood in all directions
what axles will fit correctly with the suspension, maybe custom?
engine mounts, all custom?
need full wiring harness from H22?


Most swaps come with a Lot of stuff as far as vacuum hoses, wiring etc. But you would really need to worry about those other things.
