I gave the same topic at superhonda forum and they were no help, just smart @$$es! Which would be better for my H22 Accord, Turbo or Nitrous? the turbo will be run at 6psi and the nitrous will be a 50 shot. thanks

People blow their motors left and right with nitrous too. If you have a properly installed turbo/nitrous set-up and have it tuned with proper fuel upgrades, then you should have NO major problems with a 50 shot or 6psi of boost on your motor. The ringlands in the H series motors are weaker than B series, so with a daily driver I would go no more than 8psi.

Nitrous will be cheaper than turbo. You will get more power from a turbocharged set-up but yet your quarter mile times may vary from about 3/10ths of a second to 1/2 of a second. The turbo should be the faster one, and also keep in mind turbo will wax a nitrous charged application (6psi vs 50 shot on identical applications) on highway pulls.

That's because the guy with nitrous will blow his motor
spraying in fifth j/k but I wouldn't spray in fifth, gears too long.

waht does that have to do with anything??

10 - 15 second spray will do the same thing to your motor in any gear. just gotta have the self control not to spray all the way through 5th

There is a lot more load on the motor when you do 5th gear pulls opposed to a 2nd or 3rd gear. On our motors prolonged 5th gear pulls with turbo is also a no-no.

i remember once someone saying that once. makes me think about the JRSC. it only "idles" when there is no load at all. so i dunno.

hey, did you ever get that email from my boy about a welder?

what? so basically that means top speed with boost is a no no??

yeah i'd go turbo too bud. i'd rather have the power there with me all the time, vs a button i push for once in a while power for a few seconds. plus like he^ said. 6 psi will spank a 50 shot.

stock motor 6psi turbo v. nitrous 50 shot(to the wheels or flywheel?)

power: turbo>n2o /

reliability: nitrous > turbo / (think about it)

price: nitrous > turbo /
