Default How much does it cost to install ARP rod bolts? Have searched

Like the title says, by a machine shop, with longblock out of car. I want to see what is an average price before I commit to buying the bolts. Thanks

just pull the head off, and screw the studs in yourself...save yourself the money!!!

Yes do it yourself. Unless you like paying people in which case I'd be happy to do them for you. $150.

Oh yeah the rod bolts are tricky you have to use a washer to get them in correctly.

Do you mean crank studs?

I didin't have my arp rod bolts pressed in.. i just taped them in softly....


the local machine shop around here charges 100 for install..

you have to get the rods machined so you get a perfect round circle for your bearings when you torque them down other wise you get an oval shape and your rods are now out of round. its only like 10 dollars a rod. id do it right if you want you engine to last.
