gear ratios, regardless of being dohc or sohc? Do they both use the same diff? (larger spline)

 

from what i can tell you (and i have had 4 ZC's cables) they are exactly the same. 2 were with the dohc motor other 2 were seperate, dont know how to tell the difference between the dohc and sohc one, but im pretty sure one of my other one was a sohc and it was the same. I have even had the hydro 5spd auto tranny's (my sisters car) and the gears in that auto are snappy.
