Default Anyone Got a pic......

of a Carbon Fiber Hatch on a white EG. I am going to get one from VIS. I have seen a couple but not a close up view. For those of you that do have them, how is the fitment of the hatch? Thanks for any info given.

Not the greatest pics, but here you go:



And just to let you know, the vis tailgate is only 6lbs lighter than the stock.

Fitment is ok, but you will have to cut some holes and dremel out quite a bit of the inside to get all the latches and linkages to fit.

Exactly. I could've sworn I read it was like a 15lb difference, but I may have been reading about the ek or integra piece.

i dont agree with that fully phil.....it lightens up the car a bit...could take a few 10ths of a seconds off a quarter mile time....with just wright reduction.....but i do agree its also for bling points as well....

Yea, dont want to get a CF Lip, so I'll get the hatch. EGStreetHatch's car is fawking sick. Thanx for the help ya'll. Gotta have a little Bling Bling on the hatchie.

oh for sure. i know it's for weight reduction, but, in all honesty, how many people buy carbon fiber replacements parts with the intentions of saving weight. especially all the show kaaas. most people that really get it for weight savings paint it and don't flaunt it.
