Any programs to scan my s2000 engine with a laptop?
Hello guys,
I'm new to this board and to the Honda tuning world. The car I'm used to playing around with is an '89 Firebird Formula with a 5.7L V8. I'm currently woking on a project that will involve putting an F20c engine (S2000) and tranny into a 1990 RX7. I also have the computer and almost every wire harness from the car. My question is... are there any cost friendly programs that any of you use to read the data stream of the computer? Here is one that I found http://www.scantool.net/products/index.htm Also, if I want to change the spark or fuel maps of the computer how would I go about doing that? Anybody know?
Here are some pictures of the engine. I plan to get it running on the engine stand before I transplant it into the car.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Tom M

your gonna have to check out hondata and see if they can program the S2000 ECU.

Thanks for the Hondata idea. I looked at their website and I guess they don't mess with the CPU in the S2000. Any other suggestions for viewing the OBDII data?
