Default 94 accord w/ IS300 Tail light conversion.

Here's a few pics of my friends car the day after is got painted. as soon as the painter move the car outside, someone back up into it. so the front bumper is being repainted. He's using the black chrome IS300 lights, and the side moldings where shaved. some stats on the car. It has a H22 w/ intake, header, and catback apex ws exhaust. on a mustang dyno it put down 189whp. not sure about the TQ. it has black powdercoated 17" wheels that will be put on tomorrow. and Black and gray tenzo R seats. just figured I would share a few pics. I'll have some finished pics tomorrow when he gets back from vacation.

the body work on the conversion looks good. not really feeling the projector headlights though.

yeah there was nothing that could be done to the factory bumper to make it match up perfectly with bottom of the light. the IS300 have more of a rounded backend aroud the bottom of the lights.

He had to do something with the factory head lights. they looked like junk. this was the only thing that really went with the car.

Oh and chip: if you don't have anything else better to say then that then don't post. obviously there is a little fitment issue with the back bumper and light, this was the body guys first try. It's not quite as easy as it looks. the IS300 tail light is a little different in every aspect of size. there's always room for improvement. thanks

what? you don't like the steelies. j/k.. I guess you would call it a black 7 or 8 spoke wheel. there pretty nice. thinking about going with a dark bronze. I have seen a few accords the same color as my friends with the bronze wheels and it look really good. he wants something a little lighter. he 17's are pretty hefty in the wieght department.

Why the hell shouldn't I post, because I think it looks like ***? Most people assume you want their opinion when you post **** on here, so they're going to give it to you.

Look, I really don't give a rat's ***. I would just rather someone not post if there just gonna give a stupid comment like," the fitment look like ***, the light look like ***." you knew that the car was gonna have IS300 tail lights when you click on the post. so if you don't like them why'd you post. like I said earlier. obviously the fitment is perfect yet. but cars aren't built in a day. there's always room for improvement. thanks

actuallyI doubt your gonna find many body shops that have experience in this conversion. the guy that did this is very good at what he does. he has done plenty of mini-truck and other cars. I'm not gonna sit here and try to explain what's wrong or right with the car cause I'm not or no where close to being a professional or even a novice at paint and body work so. plain and simple if you like the car that's cool if you don't that cool.

</TD></TR></TABLE>as much i hate to say it, i've seen this whack conversion done many times before ( i live in jersey), and from the one's i've seen...up close, they fit cleanly. so obviously, people who do this conversion are letting professionals who kno what the **** they're doing, work on their cars. it seems that the "professional" who worked on this car is not as skilled as one might hope him to be.
