Default B16 swap done. Temp gauge gone whack!

SO I finished my swap last weekend...
Except for an o2 code, and some dizzy/timing issues, it runs fine.

It has a weird quirk tho... the temp gauge doesn't make any sense.
It reads fine one moment, then drops down to 0, or dips down when I step on the gas.

What can cause weirdness like this??

Mine use to do that on my ZC, just a wiggin' out CTS on the head. No big deal until it throws a code for it, because then it won't let you hit vtec. That's what it was on my zc anyway. My b16 now doesn't do it, i put a new one before i had to find out if it was good or not. Does your car kick vtec? Then it's OK.

I replaced most of the grounds yesterday...still problems.
Does the thermostat housing have it's own ground? If so... I can't seem to find it.

T-stat ground ownz joo! lol. Its on top of the T-stat housing and its a threaded 10 or 12mm bolt. The wire is pretty small and has an O on it that the bolt goes through it, hope ya find it,

I hate to sound like a n00b... but I'm lost in translation.
I'm obviously looking at the wrong part, and I don't know what the english word for it is.

It's on the distributor side, just above the gearbox, in front of the starter... right??
