im planning on builder a minime with:
a6 block and either y8 or z6 head

i want higher compression. which piston would be best for this application? i would like to stay with oe pistons.

if anyone has a y8 head/im/dizzy for sale in so cal, let me know as well.

any information would be appreciated.

P29 pistons will give you around 13:1 compression with an a6 block and y8 head.
Thats the highest you can get with OEM parts.

 

would that be a reliable daily driven motor? is there any clearance issues?
