Honda car alarm not armed after door lock
Recently, I had my 2000 Honda Accord LX installed with a Honda alarm, but the alarm is not armed after I manually lock the car using the key, door lock switch, or the lock tab. The car alarm is armed only if I use the keyless remote. Is this normal? Can anyone help me identify the problem before I go to the dealer to fix it? I don't want the dealer to rip me off. Please help me.
i believe this would be normal, because if you locked it from the inside and the alarm armed, it would go off when you tried to get out of the car...
