Default help!!!New to DOHC builds.. Flywheel question?

I am planning on using an S1 cable tranny in my eg (small shaft) and running an ITR flywheel. Are the flywheels the same for all B series or are they different like the early d series? I will have to order a clutch for a 90-91 integra (casue of the small shaft) so will the Pressure plate line up w/ the studs on the ITR flywheel. Don't want to waste money and time buying the wrong parts. SEARCH turned up nothing Thanks guys

Hmm good question. I know that 92-93 and 94+ Integra clutch kits don't work, but maybe the ITR is different?? Best bet is to stay with 90-91 Integra I would imagine.

any b-series flywheel will bolt up to any b-series crank. same with the pressure plate. the differences have to do with the clutch disk and the shaft, right?

the only difference between the S1,Y1 and J1 from the YS1 and all 92 and up b series transmission is the input shaft spline diameter. you can mix parts all you want as long as you use the correct spline clutch disk and in your case you will have to use a 90-91 integra clutch and a flywheel from any integra with a b series

also......DO NOT DO THE HYDRO TO CABLE CONVERSION!!!!!

every conversion kit out there sucks because it does not allow your clutch to engage properly......i am dealing with this problem as we speak, I have a GSR YS1 tranny in my 93 del sol and the clutch feels like crap and is very unpredictable in engagement. It is a good thing that i just recently picked up the deal of the century....an ITR tranny with a cracked case for 75 BUX .....put it this way, homie had his car just a tad too low
