i was looking through the local classifieds and found a black 1989 crxsi with 200,000 miles, i havent looked at it yet, but the seller says all it needs is a timing belt to run do u guys think this is a good deal;?? i could probobly get it for 400

 

If it is just a timing belt, I would go for it. But look at it before first!
Dont get to excited, there are always other problems along the way!

 

Well lets see, find out why it needs a timing belt. Did it break ? If so I would stay away from it because there could be some major damage done to the engine, but of course if your just looking for a body then pick it up if the body is in good condtion.

 

If the body is ggo take it.
Easy fix.

 

On HT you could get a SOHC motor and tranny for less than that and drop it in there. If the body and interior is in good condtion and the suspension isnt plumb worn out, get it!
