come on people help me before i have to take the tranny out tommorrow morning

So when i go to put it into gear it grinds bad if i jam it into gear or start it in gear it jumps

motoris a d16y7 that came out of a 96 mt lx
im using my old si tranny
-When i was swapping the tranny on the y7 i was just going to use the stock clutch/pp/fw
from the y7 but when i was putting the tranny in it wouldnt fit in the y7 pp hole it was bigger then the hole was.

So i swapped the clutch and pp from my old motor that the tranny was on and when i try to put it in gear i get this problem

Any help would be greatful

Did you try..just replacing the cable?..and also make sure your shift linkage is setup correctly..i don't know why it wouldn't..or what it would matter, but just trying to help.
